Chief Executive Officer

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Cogito Tech LLC, I lead a data-driven technology start-up that specializes in Human Empowered Automation. Our mission is to help our customers innovate and scale by solving their day-to-day data needs.

Using our skilled on-demand workforce, we partner with Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Technology and eCommerce clients to develop high-quality data sets used to build and enhance various cutting-edge business applications. I have over 10 years of experience in capturing and enriching a wide variety of data types, including speech, text, image, and video. I also have a strong background in biomedical engineering and AI-enabled document automation, having worked as a Senior Associate Scientist at Pfizer and a Seed Investor and Director Operations at Ocrolus. I am passionate about using technology to provide scalable solutions for complex problems across different domains and industries.

Rohit is the CTO of CogitoTech LLC (an AI startup with presence in the US and India). A serial entrepreneur, he has been involved with the field of AI for the past 5 years.

Before Cogito, he ran a FinTech venture. A programmer by training, Rohit has over 15 years of experience working for firms like Merrill Lynch and Verizon. He has a bachelors in computer science and an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from Booth School of Business.

As a seasoned leader with over a decade of experience in AI-driven data solutions, I have led teams and initiatives that transform the way organizations leverage data for business success.

Currently serving as Vice President at Cogito, I specialize in delivering cutting-edge solutions in data annotation, speech recognition, and AI training, driving strategic innovation and operational excellence. My career spans high-impact roles, including my tenure as VAS Manager at Airtel and Account Manager at Paytm (One97 Communications), where I was responsible for developing and managing value-added services (VAS), pioneering digital solutions, and shaping customer engagement strategies. With a strong grasp of both technology and business, I specialize in AI-powered systems, digital transformation, and value-added services to drive business impact. I focus on strategic planning, fostering growth, and leveraging innovation to transform organizations. Additionally, I am committed to building high-performing teams and promoting a collaborative culture. Outside of work, I am passionate about music composition, singing, and cricket, drawing inspiration from creativity and innovation in both my personal and professional life.

Syed Haider Ali is an accomplished and driven leader and has 27+ years of experience in P&C Insurance, Financial Services, AI Machine Learning Annotations, Content Moderation & Telecommunications Domain.

He scaled up to VP Operations Role with a strong People Management background of 19+ years. He is a Bachelor of Sociology and earned various professional qualifications, certifications & trainings. In his career stints, he worked with DXC Technologies, eFunds International and DSS Mobile Communications Ltd.
Matthew McMullen

Matthew McMullen

SVP – Head of Corporate Development

Matthew has over 10 years of experience in AI data development, specializing in corporate development, go-to-market strategy, and operations.

He has worked with CloudFactory, Airtm (a leading payment platform for companies like Upwork and Scale AI), Africa AI (acquired by Execo), and StepWise (now Mastercard’s exclusive services provider), leading revenue growth, strategic initiatives, and M&A. In his career, he has helped raise over $250M in capital. Before AI, he led strategy and operations for multiple companies, including BigBelly, a global smart city technology leader, and ran a private equity firm transforming legacy businesses into dot-coms.
Abhijai Srivastava

Abhijai Srivastava

VP – Marketing

Abhijai brings in over 18 years of experience across sales, advertising, digital and brand management, he has built a career around understanding customer needs, identifying market gaps, and driving brand growth.

Having worked with companies like Godfrey Phillips India, Xerox, Rediffusion DY&R, Square Yards, and Spectra, where he led product launches, brand positioning, and marketing strategies across FMCG, B2B and other industries. At Cogito Tech, he spearheads marketing efforts to strengthen the company’s presence in the AI training data space. His expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and SEO helps position Cogito as a trusted partner for companies building AI models.
Raj verma

Raj Verma

Head – Human Resources

Raj Verma is Human Resources Head in Cogito. In this role, Raj leads Cogito’s Human Resources (HR) function and plays an integral role in the company’s ongoing journey to be an employer of choice.

He joined Cogito in 2017 and led HR engagements across various businesses. He was appointed as HR Manager in 2017 and has since been part of the leadership team. He began his career with Unique Personnel (U.K.) Limited as HR Support Executive in United Kingdom. Raj has MBA degree from University of Wales and diploma in project management from Heriot-Watt University, UK.
